As well offering Design Guidance, NNDC has for the last 36 years celebrated those schemes which have made the most significant contribution to the built environment of the District. The Graham Allen Award, in the form of a bronze plaque, has been presented annually by the Council since 1982 and recognises high quality design whether that be an extension, a restoration or a new build development.
